Pharmacy Technicians

Pharmacy Technicians assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medication and other healthcare products to patients and perform almost every function in the pharmacy. A Pharmacy Technician takes care of many of the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy, leaving a pharmacist free for more critical operations.

Pharmacy Technicians usually perform routine tasks, such as: help prepare prescribed medication for patients, count tablets, answer telephones, receive written prescriptions, verify written prescriptions, take refill requests and much more.
